Phil and Diann Garnett have a blast overseeing our Young Adults Ministry, helping them build strong community while growing in loving God and the people around us.
Diann is passionate about helping the church grow up in her calling to be like Jesus serving as one of our speaking pastors and previously serving as Children’s pastor and Youth pastor. She has a degree in accounting from Michigan State University and is currently a student at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas.
Most Sunday mornings you can find Phil worshiping God by greeting people and helping them feel welcome as they arrive as he leads our Frontline Ministry. During the week, he is an insurance agent helping people navigate the complexities of insurance and financial matters. He has an accounting degree from Harding University and an MBA from Louisiana Tech. And yes, Phil and Diann met while taking the CPA exam.
They love spending time with their grown children Ryan, Natalie, Jillian and her husband Matthew and their most adorable granddaughter, Hattie Lee. And when that doesn’t happen, they enjoy riding bikes around White Rock Lake.
