Bill and Shelly Bourland have been a part of Lake Highlands Church since 1982. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. Shelly is a retired elementary school teacher and Bill is the CMO at First Liberty Institute.

Bill and Shelly have served as life group leaders at Lake Highlands for many years. Bill is active in the prayer ministry. He also serves on the board of Pioneer Bible Translators.
