Welcome our new Children and Family pastor, Titus Brown.
(Ages 6 months – 6th grade)
PowerUp children’s ministry is all about connection!
We are devoted to making resilient disciples
who will learn to love and follow Jesus for the rest of their lives.
We are connecting:
- Our kids to Jesus. Each week we emphasize a core truth that connects each Bible story back to Jesus as well as to our own lives.
- Our adult and young church through personal discipleship. Each Sunday, our Kid Connectors (adult volunteers) each work with a small group of 2-4 children to connect with a Bible story through a variety of fun, hands-on experiences that provide each child with individual attention and give them the freedom to interact with God’s Word in an engaging way.
- Our kids to each other. Being in small groups together encourages positive interaction and teaches children to show love by listening to and praying for one another.
We take seriously the safety of all our children. Background checks are mandatory for teachers and pagers for parents are available at our Childcare Check-In desk. Security labels can be secured to your child listing parent contacts, severe allergies, or other pertinent information. For specific instruction on our registration process on Sunday mornings select your child’s age below.
- Check in times are 10:30 am – 11:20 am
- Go to the Check-in desk upstairs to complete a registration, receive a pager, and discuss important childcare information.
- Child remains in the assembly until they are dismissed prior to the sermon.
- Parent accompanies child to classroom, turns in registration form (if the child is new), and receives a numbered ticket that must be returned by parent at check out time.
