Sunday Service 6/6/21: The Story – “Covenants”

Sermon description:  If we want security in life, we will not find it in what we are or do.  Our faithfulness in attending church, our baptism, our discipline in reading the scriptures or prayer, that’s all good stuff, but our salvation does not depend upon them.  Whatever it is we try to do on our own will not cut it, because we did not cut a covenant with God, he cut one with us.  And where we deserve to die for our unfaithfulness, for our sin, God died in our place, proving that he is faithful.
